Mike Voorhees is a partner in the South Oklahoma City law firm Shelton Voorhees Law Group. The firm's practice includes commercial and business law, real estate, insurance defense, estate planning, probate, guardianship, wills and trusts, appeals, construction defects and mold litigation, and general civil litigation. Mike Voorhees is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Conference on Consumer Finance Law, the Oklahoma City Commercial Law Attorney's Association, the South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma City Real Property Lawyers Association, and the Real Property Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Mr. Voorhees was a member of the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority Fixed Guideway Study Steering Committee, the Oklahoma City Billboard Committee and was a member of the Oklahoma City Mayor's General Revenue Task Force. He was a Member of the Board of Adjustment for the City of Oklahoma City, and had served as Chairperson of the Skirvin Solutions Committee. Mr. Voorhees is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma Courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his education at Oklahoma City Community College, A.A. 1976, and at the University of Oklahoma, B.A. 1978 and J.D. 1981. His practice includes commercial and consumer litigation, corporate, business transactions and litigation, real estate, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and creditor's collections including foreclosures, replevins, and creditor representation in bankruptcies.
