Melissa S. Burget

Born July 23, 1973, Melissa was raised in Chariton, Iowa and currently resides in Oklahoma City. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in 1996. She also attended Semester at Sea, traveling and studying in eleven different countries focusing on international relations. Melissa earned her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1999, and was recognized by the Dean's Honor Roll.

Ms. Burget is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Oklahoma. Her primary areas of practice are civil litigation, real estate litigation, including construction defect and residential disclosure act violations, insurance litigation, contract disputes, oil and gas, all forms of estate planning, including creation and settling of trusts, wills and all ancillary documents necessary to protect one's assets.
