Ginger K. Maxted
Ginger K. Maxted is one of the founding members of Attorneys Against Nursing Home Abuse, which is dedicated to protecting and enforcing the rights of the elderly and vulnerable. She is also experienced in the legal/medical field and medical business field, presenting legal and business seminars to hospitals, physicians and medical personnel. She is an instructor for the National Business Institute’s Continuing Legal Education for Professionals, leading seminars on complex litigation and nursing home litigation.
Ms. Maxted is a graduate of the University of Houston and the St. Louis University School of Law. She was named an “Advocate” by the American Association for Justice College of Advocacy in 2009. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group, and the Oklahoma Bar Association. She served as president of the North Side YMCA Council in 2011-2013, and serves on the Board of the Greater Oklahoma City YMCA. She is a Board member of the 12 Recovery Foundation, a foundation dedicated to youth recovery from the effects of addiction. She is a past member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association. Ms. Maxted served on the Edmond Specialty Hospital’s Board of Directors and Ethics Board, and as table captain for the Oklahoma League for the Blind. She has been a youth soccer coach for the Northside YMCA since 2005 and her family was named Family of the Year in 2008.
